The group Disciple's of Today was started in 1996. When this group first started, 15 youth were involved. We never expected that this was just the beginning for this very special group. There talents and enthusiastic style of performing has been an inspiration to (believe it or not) thousands. We have most of our original members, and have grown, continue to grow. There are currently 65 members of this group. Robeson Lutheran Church is very proud of these youth. The Disciples of Today help to spread the SONshine for everyone.

One of the things that are truly inspiring, is the fact that this group is made up of ALL ages! The age range is from 6 years to 18 years old and WALT, as well as some adults who help with this group. The older youth take the time to help the younger youth. The younger youth look up to the older youth and they ALL work TOGETHER! Isn't that the way it should me for everything? This is how Jesus wants us to be, caring, loving, and working together.

As their popularity grows, because they are soooooo awesome, they will continue to spread God's word in a fun, youthful, energetic style. Robeson Lutheran Church can be extremely proud of these youth as a part of our ministry.

As for their name, "Disciple's of Today"..... they came up with the name on their own. They look at themselves as the Disciple's of Today and spreading God's word!
